Ye Yu basically has four seniors, these two, fat guy, Mo guy. Fat guy and these two plus their master come from the same place, they do not reveal too much about it. Ye Yu doesn’t know much or anything at all about his seniors and master, I assume they did not reveal this because Mo guy had betrayed them and after that the others asked their master not accept another disciple until MC walked up those stairs and they kinda sort of accepted him. He gave MC the incomplete painting which would cause trouble for him when people find out about it, his senior gave him the jade… these are the only things his ever received from his master. It has not been stated yet why his master has sort of sent him to this journey perhaps he saw the scroll he possess in his sea of consciousness.

Twin martial souls at the end looked like the characters got some cool armor designs but seems like itll be another short (5 min.) show

Yeah the biggest reason they are short is because unlike Japan where anime is a huge industry in China it's not. Many of these shows are done by extremely small studios or do not have large budgets. The fans would also rather have a weekly show of 5 to 10 mins verse 1 show ever couple weeks unfortunately. The ones that have 20 mins are usually those of hugely popular novels that have gotten tv dramas also

yeah ive notice a lot have live action tv adaptions..... think ive only watched soul land and some of journey of teenagers live action and the gaming one that made em all famous..... got a mind blank trying to remember it now XD....
